the operation went really well the only thing that made me feel uncomfortable was feeling full think this was part of the numbing procedure? - I felt no pain though and I was full awake throughout. I would recommend if anyone needs this operation that they should have it - I had a carotid endarterectomy

I had a carotid endarterectomy at preston royal infirmary on the 05/08/2020 my experience i had was made an excellent one by Dr Moiz and his team he made me very calm throughout the proceedure i cannot thank him enough. The treatment was first class and made me feel at ease from start to finish .Thankyou once again Colin Adams

I was having a partial removal of a kidney at Preston Royal Hospital on 4/5/20 and previously had a bad experience at Blackpool Victoria, last year when a spinal had to be quickly abandoned in favour of a GA. Also at this time I am being affected by AF in my heart. All this meant added worry going into my operation by Mr Zelhof. I needn’t have worried as the care and attention given to me by Dr Moiz was undoubtedly first class and would like to offer my heartfelt thanks to him and his team of course.

In my opinion Dr Moiz Kurban Alibhai could not of given me any better care and treatment, I would like to say a massive thank you to Dr Moiz Kurban Alibhai and his team. I am now on the road to recovery and will be able to have a full and active life.

He constantly kept me informed of exactly what he was doing and why, answered any questions I had, addressed my concerns and put me totally at ease.
He even visited me on the ward the day after the procedure to see how I was which made me feel valued as a patient and not just another NHS statistic
